Having worked in corporate sales and senior management roles over the last 25 years, I know all too well the challenges faced by being childless not by choice in a pronatalist environment. I also, however, understand the pressures of managing a business and driving results which is highly dependent on a committed, focused and happy team working within a safe and inclusive environment. Employee retention is essential to avoid disruption, increased training costs and to ensure customer satisfaction and in turn a profitable business.
Childless employees are highly valuable assets who have often committed hours of service to organisations but unfortunately and in many cases are unintentionally excluded and discrminated against.
Through personal experience and through successfully navigating my way through the challenges, I am fully commited to offering support and coaching to both employees and employers with the aim of creating an inclusive, supportive, and thriving work environment for those childless not by choice and in turn a committed, focused and confident workforce.
Below are some examples of how businesses can support their childless not by choice employees
